STANDOUT QUOTES

  • “I also say that brand is sort of a mask that you put between that set of emotions and the real world, and the more genuine you are as an organization, the more that mask looks just like your actual face.” -Tim O'Connor [08:53]
  • “The more complexity you add to anything, the more likely you’ll make it that it will fail or break.” -Tim O'Connor [19:13]
  • “It’s so fun to hear you share these things that why the brand is so important and how powerful it can be, not only for internal alignment but for external expression.” -Dr. Amber Selking [22:22]
  • “A really well organized brand will present a cohesive message as much as they can so that if someone has that crossing over into a lifelong fan moment, why wouldn’t we want to do that? Aren’t we stronger with that person on the bus than off of it? Why would we want them to build an awesome positive connection with the wrong color or the wrong mark? It doesn’t make sense.” -Tim O'Connor [30:44]
